How do I upgrade from Exclaimer Signature Manager to Exclaimer Signature Manager Outlook Edition?
Upgrading
Upgrading to Signature Manager Outlook Edition is achieved by performing an in-place upgrade using these steps:
1. Downloading the Signature Manager Outlook Edition from the website.
2. Installing Signature Manager Outlook Edition.
Note: The configuration is preserved during the upgrade procedure. You won’t need to recreate any templates or enter any configuration settings into the new version.
Important: When upgrading from Signature Manager 2 to Signature Manager Outlook Edition 3 the product will go into trial mode. You will need to obtain a new license for Signature Manager Outlook Edition 3 from the Exclaimer Sales team.

Installing
Run the ‘Signature Manager Outlook Edition’ installation file
‘Setup.exe’ on the computer where Signature Manager is
currently installed. An MSI is available from Exclaimer support by
contacting support@exclaimer.com.
Once the installation is complete, no further configuration is required and the product is operational.
The configuration files are located in the following folder and will not be removed as part of the uninstall process:

Note: The installation process will not lose any of the configuration or settings. However as a precaution, you may wish to export your configuration.
Export Steps
- Open the Exclaimer Console.
- Select the ‘Exclaimer’ node.
- Open the ‘Action’ menu.
- Select ‘Export Configuration...’
- Select a location and file name for the export and press Save.
