How to add and remove message classes in the ImportMessageWhitelist.config

Cause

During regular import operations certain message types are not imported, or message types that are not required are imported.

Resolution

Adding Message Types

1. Navigate to C:\ProgramData\Exclaimer Ltd\Mail Archiver\Configs
2. Open ImportMessageWhitelist.config
3. Scroll to the bottom of the list and add the message type by entering it into the file between MessageClass tags
   
4. Save and close the ImportMessageWhitelist.config file

Retrying messages of that type will now result in them being archived.

Removing Message Types

1. Navigate to C:\ProgramData\Exclaimer Ltd\Mail Archiver\Configs
2. Open ImportMessageWhitelist.config
3. Find the message type you wish to remove and delete it
4. Save and close the ImportMessageWhitelist.config file

Messages that match the removed message type will now no longer be archived.
