Importing existing messages into Mail Archiver

The Batch Importer function of Mail Archiver is used to import all existing messages and is installed automatically during the initial installation process. Alternatively, you can install it on any other 64-bit computer in your environment by running setup.exe and choosing to only install Batch Importer. The computer must be running Windows Vista or above.

The Batch Importer can import from:

• PST files.
• Exchange mailboxes.
• Public Folders
• The previous Exclaimer Archiver product - This is not installed and is available on-request only on a case-by-case basis.

You can import many PST’s, Exchange Mailbox or Public Folders at once. To import mailboxes other than the logged-in user, you must first follow the Exchange Mailbox Access Wizard found on the Mail Archiver node of the console.
