Messages are not moved to the quarantine folder as specified in the advanced error handling options

Symptoms

The Error handling option to quarantine messages that exclaimer has problems processing, are not being moved to the quarantine folder.

Resolution

On the folder selected as the quarantine folder, right click and select properties. Click on the Security tab and click on Add. Once the Select Users, Computers, or Groups window appear, type Network Service and click the Check Name button on the right followed by OK. In the Permissions for NETWORK SERVICE section, select Allow Full Control and click on OK.
